- Brown the seasoned pork in a large pot
- When meat is cooked, add vegetables if desired (e.g., onion, celery, mushrooms, green pepper) and continue frying the mixture for 5 minutes
- Add the tomatoes, breaking them up with a fork, and the tomato sauce
- Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer gently, stirring and scraping bottom of the pot regularly for about 60 minutes or until sauce thickens
- Serve over your favourite pasta.
