- One 600 g package La Fernandière Ready-to-Cook seasoned pork taco mix
- 330 g tortilla chips
- 250 ml (2 cups) grated cheddar
- ¼ green pepper, diced (optional)
Choice of toppings
- 1 tomato, diced
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) red onion, finely chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) chopped fresh cilantro
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) sour cream
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) salsa
PREPARATION
- In a pan over medium high heat fry the seasoned pork for 12 to 15 until well browned. Keep warm.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
- Spread out the tortilla chips on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, top evenly with the cooked seasoned pork, then with the grated cheese and diced green pepper.
- Bake until cheese is melted but not browned.
- Top to taste serving the salsa and sour cream on the side.
